Freelance web designers and web design interns
We at Suvidya Foundation are looking for committed, enthusiastic freelancers or interns to redesign our website and to give the organization more exposure on the social media. The position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient to you as long as you have access to a computer and a reasonably reliable internet connection. The following are some of the key requirements for the position.
- Good knowledge of current web technologies and an enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
- Good aesthetic sense and a spark of creativity.
- Good understanding of English.
- A commitment to complete the assignment undertaken.
- Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection.
- Good telephonic communication skills as most of the discussions happen through teleconferences.

Freelance marketing professionals and marketing interns
Suvidya Foundation needs freelance marketing professionals and marketing interns to assist with the following.
- Create partnerships with NGOs in the field of rural education in Karnataka to increase the reach of the technology to more rural government schools and hence to more rural children
- Create partnerships with NGOs in the field in Karnataka to get involved in content creation so that more standards can be covered.
- Create partnerships with NGOs outside Karnataka to create content in their local language and adopt the technology in their respective states to improve the quality of education there.
- From time to time take the required initiative to give more exposure to the program so that more communities and more NGOs get involved.
- Interface with the education department to obtain the required documentation and so forth.
- Attend conferences and speak about the program or give demonstrations to increase the reach of the program.
- Visit colleges and universities which offer undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in social work and conduct internship or recruitment drives as required.
These are target based assignments and the remuneration will be commensurate with the targets.
Freelance content creators and content creation interns
As a content creator you will be transfiguring the ordinary textbook material into a magical learning experience on the tablet for the young rural government school children. The job allows you to work from the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient to you as long as you have access to a computer and a reasonably reliable internet connection. Students and fresh graduates are welcome too as long as they can meet the deadlines. The following are some of the key requirements for the position.
- Good knowledge of English and Kannada to create content for English lessons.
- High school level knowledge of Mathematics and Kannada to create content for Mathematics lessons.
- A spark of creativity to make the content interesting for young children and to create a question bank for each chapter.
- Passion about education and to make a difference to rural children.
- A commitment to complete the assignment undertaken.
- Good working knowledge of computer, installing applications on computer and use of Internet.
- Access to a Windows computer with a reliable internet connection.
- Good telephonic communication skills as most of the discussions happen through teleconferences.
